Support
Stuck, or something isn't working the way it should? Write to support@supperowl.com. A person reads every message, and we usually answer within a few days.
It helps to tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you tapped right before things went wrong. A screenshot is even better.
Common questions
Which phones does it work on?
Supper Owl is an iPhone app and needs iOS 26 or later. There is no Android version.
Is it for the US and Canada?
Yes, both. Recipes use what you'd find at a regular supermarket in either country, and the App Store charges in your own currency.
Can I see grams and °C?
Yes. Switch to metric in the app and every recipe shows grams, milliliters and °C, rounded the way you'd actually measure. Spoons stay spoons.
Does one subscription cover the whole family?
Yes. One subscription covers everyone in your Supper Owl family, two people or six. You don't need Apple Family Sharing for it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Apple handles the subscription. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Supper Owl and tap Cancel Subscription. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your free week or current period ends. Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple took the payment, so refunds go through Apple. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid, but the app still asks me to subscribe.
Open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore purchase. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple ID you paid with.
How do I move my family to a new iPhone?
On your current phone, open Family and tap Keep your family on a new phone to sign in with Apple. On the new iPhone, install Supper Owl and sign in with the same Apple ID. Your family, plan and list come along. Without that step, they stay on the old phone.
This week's plan doesn't suit us.
Change any night: open that dinner and swap it for another. The grocery list updates to match.
How does the owl handle allergies?
Tell the owl about allergies and she leaves out dinners with those ingredients in the recipe. She reads recipes, not packages, so check labels on what you buy, especially for anyone with a serious allergy.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Family and tap Delete my data. The Delete my data page explains what is removed, what stays and what to do without the app.
