Delete my data

You can erase everything Supper Owl keeps about your family yourself, right in the app. It takes a minute, and it can't be undone.

How to delete

1. Open Supper Owl and go to Family.
2. Tap Delete my data, then Delete everything.
3. Confirm with Delete.

Your iPhone needs to be online. When it's done, the app starts over from the first screen, as if you had just installed it.

Removing the app from your phone doesn't delete anything on our servers. Use Delete my data first.

What gets deleted

• Your family: the people you added, with their names, birth years, allergies and the foods they won't eat.
• Your plans, grocery lists, favorites, ratings and what the owl has learned about your family's taste.
• Your family's settings, such as dinner nights, budget and store.
• Your sign-in on our side, including the link to your Apple ID if you used Keep your family on a new phone.
• The subscription record our payment provider, RevenueCat, keeps for the app.

This happens right away, on your phone and on our servers.

What stays

• Your subscription. It belongs to your Apple ID, so deleting your data doesn't cancel it. Cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Apple keeps its own record of what you bought.
• Usage statistics and crash reports the app has already sent. They don't include names or allergies, and Google keeps them for a limited time.
• Technical records on our servers, such as payment notifications and logs. They expire on their own within 90 days.

Without the app

If you turned on Keep your family on a new phone, install Supper Owl on any iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID and delete from there.

If you didn't, your family is tied only to the phone it was made on. Supper Owl never asks for your name or email, so we can't tell from a message which family is yours. Write to support@supperowl.com anyway, and we'll see what we can do.
